PLEASE READ: New GUARDIANS OF THE MOON

Because of the drop in activity and several players disappearing, new Guardians of the Moon will be chosen. This time around, the characters offered up for Guardians don't need to be already stamped characters, instead you can make a new character to apply for Guardian.

The Guardians of the Moon are not anyhow special ponies in the sense that they are not Gods or otherwise inherently different from other Xanadians. They are special set of seven ponies chosen to guard over Xanadia and protect it. They are blessed in the Temple of the Moon for their assignment. As far as gameplay is concerned, the Guardians of the Moon will have been chosen already some time ago In Game, so they will already know they are Guardians.

Reply to this thread with the bio of a character you want to apply for Guardian. You can submit several characters, however up to three. The Guardians will be chosen from all characters submitted to this thread at a date to be appointed later (I need to discuss it with Becka and coordinate sister-site storylines).

Note that the Guardians of the Moon will have an important role to play in the storyline that has already begun on the sister sites C03, Dream Valley and Course. Apply now!

Yes yes certainly, as long as they're Xanadian. I'm none too sure on non-Xanadian ones, but we can look that one over if anyone thinks their non-Xanadian ones would make good Guardians.

Bah! Do I have to apply again? I know I haven't been around... But I already have built Cold and Exodus' guardianship into their storylines. >.<

Old guardians will get their spots back by announcing themselves here. I guess we might call this a roll call as well.

For example, my White Fury will also remain a guardian, as will Becka's Sun.

So I take it you will be active in the storyline - you will get your Cold and Exodus back as guardians.

Great, this leaves us with only three to worry about.

Name: Ray (his full name is "Wraith" but no one calls him that)

Age: 31

Type: Big Brother (original character)

Gender: Male

Body color: White, though he keeps his coat trimmed close so he looks pink near his muzzle, ears, eyes, and parts of his legs above his feathering

Hair color: It looks white, but a close inspection of his hair would reveal that individual strands are actually clear. He has hoof feathering as well - lots of it, starting at his knees. Even his eyelashes are clear.

Eye color: Pink

Symbol: None, since he is albino. He shaves an eye into his coat where a symbol would ordinarily reside.

Cutie mark: none

Personality/temperament: He's Lilatov's older brother, and therefor nothing like her. He's friendly, and well mannered. Lilatov avoids him because she feels he keeps trying to "train" her into acting more like others. He'd be pretty happy if he could take her to a nice dinner without her acting so gosh darn strange.

He keeps an eye on his little sister though. If he thinks someone is bothering her he'll...take care of it.

He loves information for information's sake, and is always interested in finding out all about you. He counts anyone interesting as a friend.

So far he has avoided romance. He thinks of himself as being a bit of a mutant, since he is an albino, and his sister as a big time mutant. He's scared to death of having his own children.

Powers: He can walk through walls. He doesn't like his power, so he doesn't use it, since he doesn't like the moral implications of being able to violate privacy so easily.

History: He's Lilatov's older brother. He rents out the old family building, as well as some apartments he's acquired over the years. Other then that he spends most of his time around town, just getting to know people.

Awesome, though if I show a lack of activity again [Which happens a lot these days...] feel free to shove em aside and elect new guardians in their place.

Also, in case you've been wondering I have been swinging by the Higlands every now and then, I just haven't been posting. xD

Well then if I'm competing with temps, I guess I could give this a shot.

I think I would want a new char for it though, and it might help to know: Which powers are left over?

Lol! Well, actually, all of them are left over, because we haven't yet looked at which powers will go to which characters. I was thinking of waiting until I had a list of candidates but seeing as people don't seem too interested in this , I can go the current ones over and see which powers would go with which Guardians and such... I have a hunch, though, that the Purity will be the hardest one to fill up in the sense that for some reason people generally don't want to play "pure and good" characters, though I can't be sure.

My first choice of power for Exodus would be darkness, of course. And for Cold I would suggest Secret or serenity, or even purity or channel, but since Wing Song has her heart set on Purity and if somebody else wants Channel [I'm not too bothered] then I'd settle for one of the first two. ^-^

Haha yes I can hardly see Exodus as anything else. She's a little odd bird for the Guardians in general, but I think that making her the Dark Element would suffice to explain why she'd be a Guardian at all. As for Cold, since he goes for several, we'll settle on one after we have a better list of the Guardians.

For the moment, the Guardian list is as follows:
White Fury
Sun Shimmer
Exodus - Dark Element
Cold

And very likely the following will join the lot,
Ray
Truffle - Purity

We'll still need one more Guardian, and then we can divide up the powers.

...unless there suddenly comes a rush of new candidates, of course, in which case Ray and Truffle will actually have competition.
